  • It’s impossible for a dog lover to not be woken from a dead sleep when they hear the sound of a dog throwing up, even if it’s fake.
  • It’s impossible for a dog lover to agree with their dog on their choices in cologne and perfume.
  • It’s impossible for a dog lover to resist posting photos of their dog on social media sites.
  • It’s impossible for a dog lover to believe that their breed of dog is not listed in the top 10 smartest breeds.
  • It’s impossible for a dog lover to walk past a shelter and not wonder why.
  • It’s impossible for a dog lover to see a dog in need and not wonder if they have room for just one more.
  • It’s impossible for a dog lover not to want to be the person their dog thinks they are.
  • It’s impossible for a dog lover to refuse to rake leaves just so their dogs can play in them.
  • It’s impossible for a dog lover not to need some sort of caffeine to deal with dogs in the morning.
  • It’s impossible for a dog lover to see their dog napping and not cease the opportunity of taking a nap of their own.
  • It’s impossible for a dog lover to go an entire day without picking fur out of their mouth.
  • It’s impossible for a dog lover to ignore that “I gotta go pee!” face even though they know it’s a ruse.
  • It’s impossible for a dog lover to go an entire day without getting on their hands and knees and look under the couch for a lost chew toy.
  • It’s impossible for a dog lover to ever regret that they become a dog lover in the first place.
  • It’s impossible for a dog lover to look into the eyes of a dog and not wonder how such a perfect match was made so long ago.

  1. Most everything I agree with, the fur thing is from my cats. I have Yorkies, they do not shed. It is impossible to not be a basket case if your dog is sick. It is impossible not to read labels on everything they eat. Their food and treats must be made in USA. It is impossible to see a dog hurt, abused,or chain and not do something about it. It is impossible to walk past a dog a not talk to it!
    I could go on but I need to go out. Love this post!

  2. It’s impossible for a dog lover to not say “bless you!” when a dog (yours or not) sneezes!

    I rarely say it to people, but it seems pretty impossible for me to not say it to a dog if I hear him/her sneeze.
